Information about the details you share with The Blind Store and how this website uses them.

Who this policy covers

This policy describes information handled through The Blind Store LLC website, including contact and consultation requests. Questions can be sent to [email protected] or discussed by calling 425-931-0822.

Information you provide

Our contact form asks for your name, email, phone number, subject, and message. Consultation forms also ask for project details such as window count, an installation address, preferred date or time, and notes, depending on the form you use. Please provide only information needed for your project; do not send payment card details, passwords, or sensitive personal information through these forms.

If your inquiry becomes a quote or order, customer, product, measurement, and service details may be recorded in our staff management system to support that work.

How the information is used

We use the details you submit to respond to your inquiry, discuss products, arrange consultations, prepare quotes, and coordinate requested services. We may contact you by the email address or phone number you provide about your request. Submitting a form does not enroll you in an unrelated marketing subscription.

Technical information, such as IP address, requested pages, request time, and browser information, may be processed by our hosting and security services to deliver the site, diagnose problems, and limit abuse.

Service providers and payment links

Public form submissions are delivered to our business email through Resend. Website hosting, email, and network security providers, including Cloudflare, process information needed to operate their services. Staff handling your request may use the information to arrange measurements, production, and installation.

If you choose a Square payment link provided with a quote, Square handles the checkout information under its own privacy policy. The contact and consultation forms are not payment forms. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to respond to a lawful request.

Cookies and browser storage

The consultation popup stores a small preference in your browser so it can remember that you have already seen it. This preference does not contain your submitted contact details. Clearing site storage can cause the popup to appear again.

The private staff area uses a session cookie for authentication. Our hosting or security providers may also use cookies needed to deliver or protect the website. The public website code does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Links to Google reviews and social media open external sites with their own storage and privacy practices.

Retention and security

Inquiries may remain in business email and related service records. How long records need to be kept depends on the inquiry or project, follow-up, warranty support, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Backups and service providers may retain copies under their own retention procedures.

We use safeguards such as HTTPS, restricted staff access, and request protections. No website, email system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may choose not to submit a form and can contact us by phone instead. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided, email [email protected]. Include enough information to identify your inquiry without sending unnecessary sensitive details. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required for ongoing services or by law.

Children, external links, and updates

This website is intended for adults arranging window treatments, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. External websites are governed by their own policies. We will update the date on this page when this policy changes.
